Board-Certified Neurosurgeon in Orange County
I grew up in Mission Viejo, CA and after going through my medical school education at the Stanford University School of Medicine and residency and fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, I decided to return home to start my neurosurgery practice. It’s a privilege to serve the community I grew up in and I hope to bring the world-class training I received from the institutions I came from to Orange County. During my time at Johns Hopkins, the neurosurgery program was ranked #1 in U.S. News and World Report and had one of the largest surgical volumes in the country. I pursued an accredited fellowship in complex spine reconstruction and spinal oncology which embraced both neurosurgery and orthopedic approaches to spine treatment.

- Complex Spine Surgery
Comprehensive surgical care for severe spinal conditions, including deformities, fractures, and degenerative diseases that affect the spine, requiring intricate procedures to restore functionality and relieve pain. - Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
Advanced surgical techniques utilizing small incisions and specialized tools to treat spine disorders with reduced recovery time, less postoperative pain, and a quicker return to daily activities. - Brain Tumor Surgery
Expert resection and management of both benign and malignant brain tumors, employing cutting-edge technology for accurate tumor localization and maximal safe removal, improving patient outcomes and quality of life. - Chiari Malformation Surgery
Specialized treatment for Chiari malformations, a condition where brain tissue extends into the spinal canal, using surgical intervention to alleviate symptoms like headaches, balance issues, and neurological deficits. - Trigeminal Neuralgia Surgery
Targeted procedures to relieve chronic facial pain caused by trigeminal neuralgia, offering options like microvascular decompression or radiofrequency ablation for long-term relief from this debilitating condition. - Stroke Intervention and Surgery
Emergency and elective surgical treatments for stroke, including mechanical thrombectomy, to restore blood flow to the brain, prevent further damage, and aid in the recovery of neurological function. - Laminectomy
A common procedure to relieve pressure on the spinal cord or nerves by removing part of the vertebral bone, often used to treat conditions such as spinal stenosis or herniated discs that cause pain and mobility issues. - Glioblastoma Surgery
Aggressive surgical management of glioblastoma, a fast-growing brain cancer, aimed at reducing tumor size and improving survival rates through state-of-the-art techniques in neurosurgical oncology. - Craniotomy
A versatile and essential neurosurgical procedure where a section of the skull is temporarily removed to access the brain, performed for various conditions, including tumors, hemorrhages, and trauma. - Aneurysm Clipping and Coiling
